SONIDO GALLO NEGRO - Friday Nights Live in the Orchard

Banda mexicana que retoma las raíces de la música tropical psicodélica. Guitarras, órganos excéntricos, sintetizadores análogos, theremin, son algunos de los elementos de la música lisérgica de esta agrupación.  Propuesta de rareza exótica que gusta vestir su música con aires esotéricos que alteran la percepción y obligan a bailar hasta el agotamiento acompañados de hipnóticos visuales realizados en vivo por el Dr. Alderete.  Este 2020 cumplen 10 años de trayectoria en los cuales ha tenido múltiples giras europeas y americanas visitando 20 países y más de 50 ciudades. Cuatro discos de estudio, uno en vivo y colaboraciones especiales han hecho de la banda una de las más representativas de la Ciudad de México.

Guitars, eccentric organs, analog synthesizers and theremin are some of the elements of the group’s lysergic music.  A proposal of exotic rarity that likes to dress up their music with esoteric airs that alter perception and force dancing to exhaustion, accompanied by hypnotic visuals performed live by Dr. Alderete.  This 2020 marks 10 years of trajectory, in which they’ve had multiple European and American tours, visiting 20 countries and over than 50 cities. Four studio albums, one live album and special collaborations have made the band one of the most representative in Mexico City.

Friday Nights Live offers a vibrant FREE concert series of 25 Friday nights from late April through early October.  Enjoy performances from national touring bands every Friday night on our Courtyard Stage, completely free of charge. These events are a collaboration with Pickin Productions, and each concert supports a local non-profit organization.

There is a $10 parking fee starting at 6:00pm (campers park free).  100% of this parking fee is donated to a local non-profit organization being featured that week.

We offer a FREE SHUTTLE from Paonia for every Friday Night show.  The shuttle begins downtown Paonia at 6pm and runs every 20 minutes.  The last shuttle back to Paonia will be 15 minutes after the final song of the evening is played.
