About the event
Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band is a vibrant American country blues band that has captivated audiences around the world with their energetic and heartfelt performances. Hailing from Brown County, Indiana, the band is fronted by the charismatic Reverend Peyton, a virtuoso fingerstyle guitarist known for his intricate picking and slide guitar skills. Alongside his wife, "Washboard" Breezy Peyton, who plays the washboard with a unique fervor, and a dynamic drummer, they create a sound that's both raw and powerful. Their music blends traditional blues, ragtime, and folk, with lyrics that range from the humorous to the poignant, reflecting the trials and tribulations of rural life. The band's live performances are particularly notable for their intensity and authenticity, often leaving audiences spellbound. With a discography that includes several albums and countless live shows across the globe, Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band has established itself as a force to be reckoned with in the American roots music scene.
